The driver behind building this as one of initial use cases is the believe of how a important a solution like this in helping the country in facing one of the main challenges related to the present economic deformation and aims at solving the problem with an unconventional approach that enhances transparency, ensure fair and effective distribution and eliminates waste and mismanagement and misuse.

Being built on top of cutting-edge technologies like blockchain and tokenization makes the solution fully transparent and traceable from the moment of the government issuing the total global subsidy amount to every single redemption of those amounts by each individual and at each gas station, giving the public and all stakeholders complete visibility into the actual usage of the subsidy amounts.

The tokenization approach utilized in designing this solution addresses main issue with welfare and subsidy distribution programs including this program and other programs that the Libyan government and governments across the world encounter which is misuse and using funds through unauthorized channels and hand over to unauthorized individuals and entities
Simple & Ease of Use
The app is built to enable citizens with few clicks to be able to claim their monthly allocations of fuel litters and easily redeem those at gas stations through either scanning pre-populated QR codes or manually by typing gas station ID and fuel amount. Citizens can track their monthly usage, view recent transactions and dive deeper into the details of all redemption transactions on-chain.
Solution Architecture
The solution is architected in a way to allow fair distribution and at the same ensure compliance in usage. This design approach will ensure that subsidy units allocated to each user cannot be traded outside the system or misused. This enhances the effectiveness of the allocations and make sure they reach only legitimate citizens and not to enable creating a secondary market similar to what have other welfare programs witnessed.
